My Story

Some kids dream about being superheroes.
I dreamed about putting on a catcher's mask.
I was born in San Diego, California, but grew up in Yulee, Florida — a small-town kid who just wanted to play ball. I'm an American Filipino, the oldest boy in a family of six kids. I've got four sisters and a brother who also plays baseball — we've been playing together our whole lives. That competition and that bond shaped me before I ever stepped onto a showcase field.
From the first time I put on a glove, I knew I had found something I loved. Baseball has never felt like a job to me. It's where I feel most at home.
Over the years, the game has taught me lessons far beyond wins and losses — discipline, resilience, leadership, accountability, and how to keep moving forward when things don't go my way.
My path started at Yulee High School, where I played until my junior year before transferring to University Christian High School. That move gave me a new level of competition, and after my time there I was recruited by Tallahassee State College, where I am the current starting catcher. Along the way, I earned the chance to represent Florida with Team Florida and the USA Southeast Team — experiences that showed me what it takes to compete against the best players in the region.
I've never expected anything to be handed to me. I've always believed opportunities are earned through preparation, consistency, and competing against the best.
Whether I'm blocking pitches in the dirt, throwing out runners, calling a game, or stepping into the batter's box, my goal never changes:
Help my team win.
I know there are talented players everywhere. That's never intimidated me. Competition brings out the best in me.
Still learning. Still growing. Still chasing the next level.
I'm simply looking for an opportunity. An opportunity to compete. An opportunity to earn trust. An opportunity to prove I belong.
If someone is willing to give me that opportunity — I'll do everything I can to make the most of it.
